Tigers In Africa

Despite a common misconception, wild tigers are not native to the African continent. Their natural habitat is exclusively found across various regions of Asia, from the cold forests of Siberia to the tropical jungles of India and Southeast Asia. Africa, while home to a magnificent array of big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, does not have any indigenous tiger populations outside of zoos or conservation parks where they are not in their natural ecosystem. Understanding this geographical distinction is crucial for accurate wildlife knowledge and conservation efforts globally.
